Tech Tours - Apple Store
Apple is committed to its mission -- to bring the best personal computing products and supports to students, educators, designers, scientists, engineers, business persons, and consumers in over 140 countries around the world. Located on the Apple Computer campus, The Apple Store is open to the public, offering the newest Apple products.
Hours: 10:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. Wednesdays - Sundays
Admission: Adults: $15.00; Students, Seniors, Active Military: $12.00
Children 12 and younger free.
The facility has the largest Immersive Theater on the West Coast, presenting panoramic views of Mars and Saturn's rings on a curved 40-foot wide screen. SLAC public tours are offered on the 1st and 3rd Friday of each month at 1:30 pm, and 3:30pm.
Registration opens on the 3rd Friday of the previous month at 9:00 am. Each tour lasts approximately 1.5 hours and includes a visit to the lab's 2-mile linear accelerator.
Group tours are available Monday - Friday for a fee based on group size.
Scheduled times are 9:45 a.m. and 1:45 p.m. and by arrangement.
